I would have used it as a preventative

in place of heat guard pills…

I am a certified trainer for a high school football team. I used this on players during an acute setting with 100% successful results. In every case they returned to the field within 5 minutes of applying the lotion. I would recommend this product to others. I started using the product later than the other trainers. I wish we would have had it the first few weeks of play, as I would have used it as a preventative in place of heat guard pills if it were available in an institutional size.
